A copy of the file which records the nightly measures of sleep quality, sleep position, and snoring, is saved to the Night Shift report portal each time the user generates a report. These measures may be considered by you, the User, to be “health” information.
The primary purpose of the file is to enable customer service to assist the User. This file enables Advanced Brain Monitoring, Inc. to determine if the User’s problem is due to their device or their internet browser. The files also serve as a backup if the User inadvertently formats their device and erases their information. The email address has been used to notify the User when improvements were made to the device or the report. On occasion we evaluate customer satisfaction by reviewing the number of hours and consistency of device use; however, we always analyze the data by the device number, and not by the User name.
User files are saved on a secured server and steps have been implemented to protect the information from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction. Files with the User name are only accessible to our customer service, technical support, and engineering team members. Our policy is to not share a file that includes the User name with a third party.
In addition to the steps we’ve implemented to maintain your privacy, to keep your health information anonymous to ABM, do not enter your name into the Night Shift software.
